For iPhone4/4S it is necessary to change the glass and LCD because the original part comes together. It is impossible to just change 1 single part. The process takes up 30mins - 45mins.
Do not be fooled by cheap $10 replacement plastic sold on the internet. The LCD is laminated to the glass, therefore there is no way to release the LCD away from the glass, its as good as throwing $10 away.
For iPhone 3G and 3GS users, you are luckier in that sense. We are able to replace either the glass or LCD individually. The process takes 15mins to 20mins.

Damage to these flexes are usually due to phone drops or.. pressing too hard. The solution is to replace the flex. The process takes no longer than 15-20mins.

Firstly, we have a trade secret that might be able to 'wake it up' thereby not requiring a module change. This repair method takes about 1 - 3 days.
If its totally burnt out and requires a replacement, it can take up to 2-4 weeks. In some instances even longer.
